100% Compensation - How does the solicitor get paid?
Many people are initially dubious about the claims of 100% compensation, as they may think “If i receive 100% compensation, how does the solicitor get paid for their work?”. Naturally a solicitor will not work for nothing, but their fee is not paid by yourself. The solicitor recovers their costs associated with actually making your claim from the third party. This amount is recovered on top of your compensation, so you do receive 100% compensation.
100% Compensation - Is this the same as no win no fee?
A lot of people confuse 100% compensation with the offer of a no win no fee service. Whilst many solicitors will now offer a no win no fee service, not all will be able to guarantee you keep 100% of your compensation. No win no fee basically means if the case is not successful, you do not pay your solicitors fee. It does not necessarily mean you will receive 100% compensation.
